The team in 'Big 7' formation at the YS International Airshow 2010

The YS Flight Red Arrows was a virtual team consisting of seven pilots, who aimed to recreate all of the excitement and precision of the real Royal Air Force Red Arrows team using the YS Flight simulator. The most recent Red Arrows team was active from 2009 until 2011 formed by Danny and Felix, after completing many hours and practice of virtual aerobatics.

However the original YSRA team can be traced back to as early as 2006 when a small team was set up to represent the Red Arrows using YS Flight.

A YS Flight Red Arrows display featured both formation aerobatics and solo manoeuvres. The first half of the display featured all seven pilots in a series of changing formations and flowing loops and rolls. The second half on the display featured the Synchro Pair who performed opposition manoeuvres whilst the remaining five pilots completed a selection of dynamic formation passes. The team performed at a number of differant virtual airshows since their formation in 2009, they included; - YS Thunder Over Offutt 2009 - YS International Airshow 2009 - Virtual Royal International Airshow 2009 - Virtual National Cleveland Airshow 2009 - YS Biggin Hill Air Fair 2010 - YS International Airshow 2010 and the YS Flight Jones Beach Airshow 2011.
