YSUpload.com is the premier free hosting service designed specifically for YSFlight addons.
History
YSUpload (abbreviated YSU) was founded by Wingzfan99 in January 2012. The purpose of the site was to provide dedicated free hosting for YS addons that could be easily used and accessed from YSFHQ. Currently, Wingzfan99 and Varren are the primary administrators of the site.
Features
Features of YSUpload include:
- Free hosting for an unlimited number of addons, each up to 100mb in size.
- Tracking of download counts and other statistics on a per-addon basis.
- Auto-translation into four non-English languages (Japanese, French, Spanish, and Portugese)
- Comments and Star Ratings for each addon.
CALIBER Influence Ratings, which indicate how influential each uploader is within the YSU communityThis feature is being fazed out due to little use and high strain on the site.- Download Backup, which tracks which files a user has downloaded and allows them to re-download all of their addons in a single .zip file (Registered Users only.)
- Update Notification, which notifies users when a newer version of an addon they have downloaded is available (Registered Users only.)
- YSOPF-Compliant .ypkg support
