About your Airline

Intercontinental Airways is a semi-active airline running since foundation in August 2011 by Prince Darkstar on YSFHQ. It is notably the first YSFlight VA to run an escort division for its own airliners. Its staff is made up of:

August 31, 2011:

IAVA is founded by Prince Darkstar

October 2011:

IAVA is granted Certification-in-progress (CIP) status. 7 pilots on the roster.

February 10, 2012:

IA VA recruits its 10th member, CDKomp

July 2012:

IA VA joins ExpressBlue in the MembershipDual program, sharing the all-blue airliners with ExpressBlue.

October 2012:

Prince Darkstar, because of his continuous absence in YSFlight, appoints acf492, the EXO at the time, to CEO of IAVA. P.D. steps down to EXO.

January 2013:

After a long period of waiting, the IAVA fleet pack (made by Boogergoblins and Dragonheart R1) is finally published by the IAVA staff. 3 airliners and a fighter jet are included.

February 2, 2013:

Darris XTMRage, the D-EXO, announces that Intercontinental is expanding outside of YSFlight, under the name of Intercontinental Virtual Transports Inc. (IVT) Operations of IVT in other games are based out of New Orleans and New York.

June 2013:

Due to the continued inactivity of both Prince Darkstar/HawkbitAlpha and acf492, Darris XTMRage (now J.D.) becomes CEO of IVT. acf remains the CEO of IAVA standalone.

Routes

In Hawaii, we fly from our hub in Honolulu to Lihue, Maui, Kona and Hilo. Commuter routes fly to Molokai and Lanai with smaller aircraft. In Tohoku, Matsushima serves as our hub with flights to Aomori, Misawa, Akita and nearby Sendai. For North Kyusyu, flights from Tsushima serve Gotoh Fukue, Nagasaki and Saga.
