HawkbitAlpha (formerly known as PR1NC3 D4RK5T4R on YSFHQ) is a YSFlight pilot who originally joined the community in spring 2011.

History

Initially appearing on the 171st, EricT, and Fariiniq servers in spring 2011, Hawkbit (then flying under the name ACSBehemothHellcat) quickly garnered himself a bad reputation among several YS combat squadrons for his highly-immature conduct, culminating in an infamous moment of vulching an entire server with the Major UFO. From that point until the closure of the original 171st server in mid-2012, Hawkbit was a constant target of the squadron, who regularly teamed up with a variety of other enigmatic dogfighters to carry out the hunt.

Over the years since, Hawkbit has tried his hand at a number of different ventures in the YS community, with varying degrees of success. This included his creation of Intercontinental Airways VA in August 2011, which helped revitalize the civilian sector of the community until its spring 2012 downturn and eventual 2014 shutdown. After a failed attempt in 2014-2016 at creating an aerobatic display group in the Firestorm Demo Team (during which time he was banned from YSFHQ for unclear reasons), in September 2016, Hawkbit returned to the combat fold as a member of GrunSolutions PMC, but left in October 2016 after switching to a ping-heavy satellite internet connection.

After a long stint of inactivity from late 2016 to December 2019, Hawkbit has more recently returned to the YS community in a limited fashion, having joined Halliverd 1-1's 365th Special Operations squadron as a strike pilot.
