2UCW Hawaii is a variation of the stock Hawaii map, used on the 2nd United Combat Wing's YSFlight server from January 2021 to its closure in March 2023. Derived from the CVW-171st modification of Hawaii, this version of the map was first created through a collaboration between GrunSolutions and the VFA-49th in late 2016 for use with the latter's server. The map was again adopted by 2UCW in January 2021, and modified by the squadron to serve as its own hub.
Despite the name, however, the map is actually the site of two squadron bases. Madobe Naval Air Station (IFF 2), located on the northern tip of the island of Molokai, is the official home base of 2UCW; the base was originally designed and operated by GrunSol (later MIRAI) before its exit from the YSFlight community. Kaluhui Air Base (IFF 3), located on the island of Maui, is a forward operating base operated by 9th Matrix. Both are surrounded by anti-air weaponry and naval assets, and the Pailolo Channel separating the islands is itself occupied by a neutral carrier battle group; for this reason, the channel is known to both squadrons as the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
